Production

One site.
The complete process.

From molten batch to the packed carton, every step happens in our glassworks in Krosno – and every piece passes through skilled hands along the way.

01

Development

Every new project begins with our development team: we translate your design into a form that can be produced reliably and repeatably by hand.

02

Forming

Specialised glassmakers shape the molten glass in moulds to achieve the required form. The batch is melted at temperatures of up to 1460 °C.

03

Annealing

Each newly formed piece is cooled in a dedicated annealing furnace, relieving internal stress and making the glass safe to use.

04

Mechanical processing

Grinding, bevelling, polishing and drilling — every piece is adapted to our customers' requirements and passes through several hands until it is complete and safe. Over the years we have developed solutions that keep these processes fast without compromising on quality.

05

Decoration

We adapt flexibly to special customer requirements and keep investing in new techniques and equipment, so we can offer a broad range of contemporary finishes — see our finishing techniques below.

06

Quality control & packing

Our quality department measures, analyses and reports on every product. A strict inspection procedure is followed every day before dispatch — the more demanding the project, the stricter the check. Goods are then packed exactly as the customer specifies.

Our own recipe

Everything starts with the batch. Our glass is melted to our own recipe with a particularly high proportion of high-quality minerals – crystal-clear, colour-neutral, brilliant and robust. Clear and opal glass form the basis of our work, complemented by colour-in-the-batch glass and, on request, lead-free crystal glass.

Time to cool – our annealing

Cooling is one of the most important steps in glassmaking. We give the glass the time it needs: our very large annealing lehr cools every piece extremely slowly. This releases internal stress and makes the glass stable, safe and durable – even with large and thick-walled pieces.

Large formats. Precise to the millimetre.

  • Exceptionally large pieces — formed by hand where machines reach their limits
  • Working tolerances as tight as 1 mm for reliable fitting and assembly
  • From single pieces and prototypes to series production
  • In-house processing: grinding, bevelling, polishing and drilling
